A Launch Event for CFA Kenya was hosted at the UK - Kenya Business Forum 2026, which was organised by the British Chamber of Commerce Kenya.
About the Event
The CFA Kenya is part of the Climate Finance Accelerator programme - a global technical assistance funded by the United Kingdom Government. The agenda for this event was to:
- Introduce the CFA technical assistance model and its role in unlocking investment for climate-focused businesses
- Share key insights and findings from our recent landscape mapping of the climate finance ecosystem in Kenya
- Officially launch the Cycle 1 Call for Proposals, detailing the eligibility criteria and providing a walkthrough of the application process
- Provide a platform for interactive discussion and networking among climate-focused businesses, investors, and ecosystem stakeholders
In January 2026, the CFA Kenya offers launches to support a cohort of low carbon projects. Cycle 1 commencement will be marked by this Launch Event when the Call for Proposals will also open. This is an excellent opportunity for interested projects, financiers/investors, and other stakeholders to gain early access to and better understanding of the programme.
