Its proprietary AI engine optimises each home’s solar, battery, and grid usage in real time - autonomously balancing savings and backup power in ways no manual system can match.

Wetility has made a significant impact helping households and SMEs save up to 90% on power bills. The business has raised over $80 million in total funding, including a landmark $28 million deal with Jaltech, and today employs over 100 staff while supporting approximately 3000 contractors nationwide.

As part of the 2022 CFA cohort, Wetility gained access to expert financial advisors and warm introductions to leading institutional investors, directly enabling its first local debt facility and the right private equity partnerships. CFA support extended further to technical reviews and shaping Wetility's approach to social inclusion and job creation. Wetility was subsequently invited to present at the CFA global event in London, gaining exposure to international experts, policymakers, and large-scale investors. Those relationships have endured, which saw the UK High Commissioner to South Africa delivering the inaugural address at Energy Leap 2025, where One Bill was officially launched.
