Tierra Prieta produce and export walnut shell Biochar to Texas from our plant in Parras, Coahuila. Tierra Prieta biochar has a carbon content greater than 80% and generates CO2 Removal Certificates. Biochar is plant matter heated in the absence of oxygen, resulting in an ultraporous charcoal, which retains water and nutrients longer near the roots, improving farm yields.
